Akke is a driving force behind our 'Secretaries by Adams' business unit. She forms a dynamic duo with Fleur and this Dutch combo is there to add a sprinkling of poedersuiker and Hagelslag wherever they travel. With close to 5 years recruitment experience as well as PA experience, Akke is the perfect Consultant to look after our clients and candidates. The name Akke originates from Friesland and translates into English as Magpie. The European Magpie is believed to be the most intelligent of all birds and is one of the few species known to be able to recognise itself in a mirror test! Akke may resemble a youthful Brigitte Bardot but has little time for vanity. She does, however, find the time for an occasional tune on her saxophone. Akke is one surprising lady.

Although Fleurine was born in the Netherlands her early years were spent as an ‘expat child’ gallivanting across the globe to exotic lands such as Indonesia, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Switzerland. Since those early days, Fleurine has built up an impressive list of qualifications and an equally impressive portfolio of prestigious clients with whom she has worked. Fleurine has worked as a PA or Executive Assistant to some very important and influential people and this knowledge and expertise will serve her well in her role as Consultant for our ‘Secretaries by Adams’ business unit. To counter-balance this highly professional side, Fleurine plays guitar in a band; is training for a half marathon; enjoys a very occasional bloody Mary and eats oysters like they are going out of fashion. Talk about multitasking! Looks like we have found a real Pearl in Fleurine.
